THE TEAM

teammember

Michael Pulis

Michael’s known he wanted to be a “video game creator” since first grade when he fell in love with Super Mario 64. He would bring hand-drawn maze maps to recess for his friends to play through. With his sight firmly set, he has relentlessly pursued his dreams, collecting a crowd of loyal supporters and talented friends. Everyone who meets him is left with the singular impression that programming video games is what he was meant to do. That’s why we at Synodic Arc believe our fans trust and connect with Michael so much- his passion is evident in every project he touches.

Daniel Peterson

Where else would a character artist fall in love with video games than Super Smash Bros. Melee? Each character’s unique design and game mechanics fascinated him and it wasn’t long before he was creating original characters. He’s always loved to draw people; he would even draw his classmates and pass out the portraits! On the side, Danny bakes cakes that look like castles and he used to fight in medieval battles. You might also recognize Danny from Baka Bros Entertainment- developer and publisher of Chaos Kart.

Josie Darling

As the only business major in a room full of artists, Josie knows a thing or two about herding cats. Accounting, marketing, and enforcing deadlines are a few of the ways she helps bring the Synodic Arc ideas to the finish line.

Jason Cory

After finally convincing his parents that he wasn’t cut out to play soccer, Jason was told he had to join a new extracurricular. The theater department was open, but he certainly didn’t want to be center stage. Instead, he got his hands on audio equipment and never looked back. Finally, here was a way he could be a part of creating the video games he loved so much. Ever since, Jason has proven that his sharp ear can dissect and immediately recognize any in-game sound effect. We know his fiance wishes that talent translated to remembering what she told him yesterday, though.

teammember

Aaron Beard

As a seasoned Dungeon Master, Aaron loves taking people on a journey- immersing them in fantasy, drama, and shenanigans. Video games are no different, offering the same ability to escape and become anyone you want to be. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario World are two games that helped inspire Aaron to become the storybuilder he is today. On the side, he creates custom D&D memorabilia, snuggles his cat, and recreates period-accurate medieval food and drink.
